MISSION STATEMENT

Kingsway Jewish Center is the largest Modern Orthodox synagogue in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. We are Zionist, supportive of an Eruv, committed to outreach activities, and steadfast in our affiliation with the Va'ad Harabonim of Flatbush and the Orthodox Union.

Although we follow the Ashkenazic tradition, our beautiful sanctuary is built in a Sephardic design with seats facing a central area dominated by a bimah. As a "center" for Jewish life in the area, Kingsway is composed of a complex of buildings housing a tenant yeshiva, preschool, catering hall, gymnasium and pool.

Our regular programs include weekly classes in Talmud and Chumash, Oneg Shabbats, adult education programs focused on Jewish themes, youth groups on Shabbat and Sunday, a Teen Minyan, a weekly Tehillim group for our children, a Rosh Chodesh women's learning program, a Chevra Kadisha, sisterhood activities and much more.

We take pride in our programs for the less fortunate in our midst.
